Balearic Islands

The jewels of the Mediterranean Sea are Spain’s Balearic Islands: Mallorca, Menora, Ibiza and Formentera. The four islands share a history that has shaped and cultivated a culture unlike any other found in Spain or in the Med giving visitors to the more rural and less touristy areas a unique window into their lives.

Mallorca is the largest island known for its sandy beaches of all sizes and shapes, its tall hills and system of caves. Mallorca is also home to many lush spas and caters to many well heeled tourists and expat homeowners.

Menorca is a smaller version of Mallorca offering divine seafood restaurants and a good smattering of clubs rocking well into the night. However, if you wish to experiences the world’s greatest collection of ‘super’clubs Ibiza is the destination for you.

Check out top billing names, but be sure to appreciate the quite side of Ibiza like Benirras for sunset, Atlantis, gazing over to Es Vedra and the many lush white sand beaches and tiny seafood cafes that spot the bays. For a truly quiet holiday head to Formentera and just wander around the island never leaving the sand. Eventually you will find a hammock with your name on it.
